    I'm not good at tutorials but the gist of it goes like this

    I first just made the image black and white then I wanted to make it brighter so I went to brightness/contrast... around 70 brightness and 20 contrast.

    Then I used a watercolor filter on a duplicated layer, settings were around 12, 1, and 2.

    Then I set it to multiply and merged the layers

    After that I made a new layer and played around with brushes that made water color looks.

    Then I added a mask to that layer and made sure I had the mask selected. I inverted the mask cltr+i

    When you click off the mask you should have that effect. Good luck!

    Thanks a bunch for your favs <3 I'm glad you liked the overall idea of the wall. I just couldn't get the stupid background to work well with me. I guess it was because I took it from the actual manga scans. I might still work on the background when I can get a real idea but at least Orihime and Ulquiorra turned out well, right? *wink wink*
